Once again, the MND Family honoured the contributions and achievements of MND staff at the MND National Day Awards Investiture (NDAI). Held on 8 February and 9 February 2023, we celebrated NDAI 2021 and 2022 respectively at Gardens by the Bay after a hiatus due to the pandemic. Minister (National Development) Mr Desmond Lee graced the two ceremonies as the Guest-of-Honour.

The National Day Awards recognise various forms of merit and service to Singapore. We are proud that a total of 426 HDB recipients were conferred the National Day Awards 2021 and 2022 for their exemplary contributions, dedication and many years of service. Special mention to National Day Awards 2022, we saw CEO Mr Tan Meng Dui receiving the Public Administration Medal (Gold) and DCEO(E) Mr Mike Chan Hein Wah, the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Bar). Former HDB Board Member Mr Mohd Sa’at Abdul Rahman also received the Public Service Medal in recognition of his contributions to HDB and the Public Service.

By the Numbers

During the ceremonies, the recipients enjoyed their moment catching up with friends and colleagues over some good food, while having fun snapping pictures and making memories.
